Some people think it would be nice to have their own name, but they are 'attached' to AOL. They don't want to change how they get their email.

 You don't have to. If you are stuck in that rut of "Nothing New For Me Please", you can still use a personal address and have the mail forwarded to your AOL address. Sure, your mail will still deliver as being from AOL, but one step at a time.
